Not yet dead by castiron - Enthralling narrative, sublimely written. Castiron's strength seems to be in their ability to take a seemingly absurd premise and make it work beyond all expectation. So yes, I have a kindle. Pretty much what sealed the deal for me is the ability to take anything on AO3 and upload it to my kindle in less than 30 seconds. Which means now instead of dawdling over breakfast to finish reading something that went up while I was asleep, I can read it on the bus and be on time. EVERYONE WINS.
